Our clinic is based in Westburn Business Centre, a requisitioned mock-Tudor mansion on the perimeter of Prestwick aerodrome. The location is quiet and well placed for those travelling from all parts of Ayrshire, Renfrewshire and Glasgow.
Getting here...
By Car:
We’re just off the A79 behind Prestwick Airport. Turn onto Monkton Rd from the roundabout signposted Orangfield Industrial Estate then 1st left onto McNee Road. Westburn House is at the very end of McNee Rd. Once on McNee Rd, keep driving past the airport/cargo places and motorhome storage unit until you reach the large Tudor style house on the left at the end...that's Westburn House signposted Westburn Business Centre. Slight left into the car park at the end of the Rd. Parking is out front of building where you'll also see the front door.
There’s ample free parking in the spacious car park out the front of the building. There are also spaces adjacent to the front entrance allowing you to park close by.
By Public Transport:
Train:
The nearest train stations are Prestwick Airport and Prestwick Town.
Bus:
The nearest bust stops are Monkton Road Prestwick and Prestwick Airport.
Please note it’s about a 20 min walk from the bus stops and the train station or a short taxi ride to Westburn House.
Taxi:
Prestwick town has a local taxi company in the main street which you can book ahead or walk in, details below…

When you arrive...
We're on the ground floor with one low step up to the entrance to navigate. There is currently no wheelchair ramp to avoid the step.
There's an intercom at the front door.
I'm in Room G2 and will be listed under our new name of Higher Health.
Press 2 followed by the 'enter' button and I'll buzz you in. The entry instructions are also on a sign by the intercom inside the main door.
There’s a comfortable public waiting area with a small sofa and coffee table in the main entrance hall just as you come in which you can use whilst waiting for your appointment if needed. I will come out to greet you when you arrive.
Both gents and ladies toilets are on the ground floor.

Gents is located just inside the main entrance door to your left before the internal door entry.

Ladies is inside the main building along the corridor to the right of the waiting area and turn right at the end of the corridor where you will see the toilet straight ahead of you. I can show you the first time!
The entry to the clinic is off the entrance hall. I will let you know when I’m ready for you and show you in.
There are chairs in the treatment room for you and for any persons accompanying you in your session.
There will be low volume relaxing music playing in the room but I’m happy to turn it off if you prefer not to have it on.
There is no harsh lighting in the room, it’s lit with natural light from the window and low brightness floor lamps.
